Emotional Health & Recovery
Life requires recovery. So often we journey into the unknown and it takes us through a vast array of issues. Whether we have struggled with hurt, pain, grief or addiction of any kind, we can most certainly describe a season of life where we could use support, grace & encouragement. We also need to develop new skills as we continue through life. We are about healing the hurting and wounded as Christ Jesus has healed us. Our groups are come-as-you-are, no matter where you find yourself in the healing process. We believe in the transforming work of Jesus Christ demonstrated in our lives through real, deep, and applicable conversations.
Monday nights we dive into the emotionally healthy aspects of our faith in conjunction with recovery. We cover topics from addiction, grief, relationships, and more as we journey through life. Our group is diverse as we have people who are healing from trauma, divorce, grief, addiction, and so much more. We welcome all who want to dive in and pursue their own growth journey. You do not need to be in a 12-step program to join.
Thursday nights is an Overcomers 12-step class. This group has the same structure from week to week and will cover both scripture and the 12-steps. This is a group for all who seek to continue their 12-step journey through the lens of their faith. You do not need to be in a 12-step program to join.
Both groups meet in the Fireside Room at 6:30pm. The doors open at 6:00pm for fellowship.
If you are not familiar with our campus, to get to the Fireside Room, you will park behind the church and walk into the alley and enter the first floor of the first building in the alley. The Fireside Room is the middle door and is marked with a sign for the class.
